This competition wining memorial park design by EADG commemorates the battle of Wuhan. The focus of the park is a contemporary designed museum which also contains the historically significant Zhongshan battleship. The parkland, natural and sombre, recalls the battle and its consequences through a metaphorical and symbolic journey. Four memory axis, each recalling a particular event or moment of the war, allows visitor to appreciate and understand the war in their own and personal way.
